College offering a master's and bachelor's degree in education.

The university provides education in newly accredited programmes in full-time and combined form in Czech or English, in Bachelor's degree programmes in Economic Policy and Administration or Social Policy and Social Work and in follow-up Master's degree programmes in Economic Policy and Administration.

The faculty provides education in fire protection and industrial safety in bachelor, master and doctoral programs. The faculty includes the Department of Fire Protection, Occupational and Process Safety, Public Protection and Security Services.

Offering degree programmes in economic policy and administration, economics, management, systems engineering and computer science. Possibility to study within the framework of lifelong learning.

The SIMLEK Simulation Centre of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ostrava has the same equipment as a real hospital. There is medical equipment and parts of pre-hospital care.
