The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the UJEP in Ústí nad Labem is a modern and practically oriented educational and scientific research institution. It provides its students with quality education and good prospects for employment in the labour market.

We operate a department providing instruction in the use of information technology. We offer undergraduate and graduate courses in software engineering applications. We teach disiplines from basic programming to programming with modern JAVA or XML languages.

We offer studies in the Faculty of Science. The Department of Biology, specifically the Department of Anthropology, Botany and Zoology, is located at this Faculty of Science.
