Lending books and specialist journals focusing on history, archaeology, art history, bibliography and surveys.

The collection contains, for the most part, religious literature of Catholic and Protestant provenance published before 1860. Another group consists of manuscripts, mainly chronicles and various manuscript documents. Periodicals and manuscript materials are also part of the collection.

We operate a library with a focus on specialist literature in the sciences. We keep records of more than 25,000 printed documents.

Offer library services with a focus on professional literature. Newspapers, titles in the fields of linguistics, theology, pedagogy, commenology, religion, literary studies, history, archaeology, ethnography, philosophy, journals and regional periodicals are available for loan.
