The museum library collects, registers, processes and makes available collection and non-collection literary documents, documents documenting cultural and other activities in the region, necessary for the professional work of the museum staff or for the needs of the professional and general public.

Offering library services with specialist literature. We maintain a library collection with a focus on history and the present, literature on museum theory, educational and linguistic dictionaries, encyclopedias, and basic works of social science. The library of the Chamber of Commerce and Trades is part of the fund.

The library manages more than 400,000 specialized publications and periodicals in social sciences, arts and sciences. It provides its services not only to the museum staff but also to the general public. Most of the literature is intended for full-time study only.

Offering tours of the museum library, specializing in regional literature and related publications. We operate an electronic catalogue. We provide xerox, scanning and printing of documents or digital copies. Internet access is available to the public.

We operate a professional and collections library. The library specializes in publications related to Vysoké Mýto and the territory of the former district of Ústí nad Orlicí.

Offer library services with professional literature. There are old prints, books and bound volumes of periodicals published before 1860. A collection of periodicals, regional and reference books or monographs published in the 20th century relating to the political party of the Communist Party are available for absentee loan.

I offer library services with a focus on specialized literature. We focus on history, culture and life of the region, archaeology, natural sciences or ethnography.

Operation of a study library, which serves editors of O. Březina's works, students for their theses and other interested parties.

The Library of the Gallery and Museum of Vysočina offers publications on regional history, local history and publications on fine arts. It offers the study of anthologies, specialist journals and publications published with the support of the Highlands Edition.

The collection section of the library contains regional literature including Chrudim and East Bohemian newspapers and periodicals, crammer's prints, old prints and manuscripts. The specialist section includes literature on history, natural history, archaeology, art, ethnography, etc. Internet and Wi-Fi are available in the research room.
