The modern eco-centre in Ostrov is there for everyone who loves the nature around us. For children and young people we offer special interest groups, school programs, suburban camps and interesting competitions. Everyone is welcome to visit the animals, regardless of age. Come and visit us.

We run a town library. We have an online catalogue of books. We provide lending, copying and reprographic services, internet access and book delivery. We lend educational literature, fiction and magazines. We organize excursions and literary discussions.

We are a non-profit association of children in individual education. We offer preschool and school education in a welcoming and stimulating environment where children can express themselves freely, learn at their own pace, without fear or pressure. We encourage children to make their own decisions and accept the consequences for them.

We run a primary school for 300 pupils. There is a canteen and a school day care. Events, Olympiads, ski courses and concerts are arranged for children. Foreign languages are also taught here.

Primary school for 54 pupils with a day care centre. Oriented towards pupils with mild intellectual disabilities. Assessment and education is done on an individual basis. We focus on social skills and communication.

We run a kindergarten with a dining room for 20 children. We promote healthy physical, mental and social development of the child. We strive to teach the child independence, creativity and self-confidence. We organize cultural and social events for children and their parents.

Run a children and youth house offering interest groups and leisure activities for children and young people. We organise various sporting, cultural and social events for children and their parents and the public. We organize summer and suburban camps, competitions and various creative workshops.

We offer after-school clubs, swimming and tennis lessons, arts and crafts and accommodation. We provide lessons in aerobics, badminton, basketball, soccer, swimming, self-defense or volleyball. We teach ceramics, drawing, model making, flute or guitar, languages, aquatics and more.
