We operate a municipal library. We offer lending of books and magazines from our own and exchange collection. We buy and sell out of print books. We provide access to the public internet.

State general four-year and eight-year high school with a capacity of 372 pupils. Offering exchange opportunities and foreign language instruction. We organize excursions, competitions and Olympiads. We run a theatre group and a choir.

Primary school for 723 pupils with day care and canteen. Swimming club and other sports, social and cultural events for pupils. The pupils publish a magazine called Gutjak.
