We focus on the promotion of independent and auteur documentary film and its promotion at European level. We operate a website offering a database of Czech and Eastern European documentary films and a database of documentary festivals and various companies and institutions.

The cinema is a cinema in the basement of the French Institute. We regularly show mostly contemporary European films in the original version with Czech or English subtitles. We put together a programme for young audiences and organise various unique cultural events. The cinema can also be rented for private events by arrangement.
