We deal with the management of the city's economy. We monitor and analyze the City's current financial situation. We take inventory of the City's assets. We handle the agenda of the City's special purpose funds. We maintain the City's accounting records. We take care of the activities of the Czech Point office.

Ensures the creation of the city's strategic plan, monitors and evaluates its implementation. Ensures the agenda for the preparation and implementation of the use of EU funds, the activities of project managers for projects submitted by the city to national subsidy titles as well as to EU or other international subsidy titles.

Provides an urban planning and architecture agenda and ensures the performance of state administration in the field of urban planning. Produces digital technical maps of the city, regulatory plans at the request of the municipality in the administrative district and others.

The Department provides information support for the activities of the City Council.

The department provides the municipality's master plan, regulatory plans and land use studies in accordance with the development needs of the area. It also sets conditions for construction, authorises information, advertising and promotional facilities. It keeps records and archives spatial planning documentation and planning documents.

The Department prepares documents and submits proposals for decision-making of local government bodies in matters of investment and functional use of land and buildings of the city. It ensures contracts for works, easements, surveys, including registration in the Land Registry. Provides documents for building permits.

The department provides development of computer science and information systems. Provides the supplies and services necessary for the operation of the municipality and administrative and technical operations. It organises the stamp register and manages the telephone switchboard, porterage, maintenance and cleaning. It implements a complex lost and found agenda.

The Department conducts audits of the activities of the various departments of City Hall as assigned by the City Council or the Audit Committee. It keeps records of submissions in the nature of complaints, complaints and petitions with subsequent handling and investigation. It carries out public audits of applicants for and recipients of public financial support.

The department deals with the registration of the city's property and represents the owner in entering into legal obligations relating to leases and sales of flats and non-residential premises. It also represents the City as owner in concluding contracts for the sale, lease, purchase or other legal relationship relating to registered property.

The Department provides cooperation with the Territorial Military Administration, the performance of tasks related to the protection of the population and manages the units of the Volunteer Fire Department. It also keeps records of improvised shelters within the city and protects classified information. It ensures the preparation of the city for emergency situations.

The department provides methodological and organizational support for the preparation and updating of the city's strategic development plan and the subsequent action plan, and cooperates in the creation of other development documents of the city. It ensures the implementation of surveys and analyses for the needs of city development planning or business development support.
