We provide pre-archival care and shredding services in the perimeter of our operations. We focus on the processing, registration and accessibility of archival records. We preserve archival units in the fields of crop and livestock production, household equipment, transport, energy sources and automotive machinery or crafts.

Providing administration of historical written archives. We focus on the history of Czech art of the 19th and 20th centuries, including a collection of drawings and prints from the late 18th century to the present.

Professional archiving of documents. Sorting, electronic filing and archiving in a commercial filing cabinet. We provide you with a reliable document filing system including a digital archive. User-friendly online system. Archiving of accounting documents.

Document management and operation of electronic archive. We organize exhibitions and excursions. We control the performance of the filing service, carry out the selection of archives in the shredding procedure and outside the shredding procedure and provide professional, information and advisory services to the owners of archives.

The Department of Archive Administration and File Service is responsible for the Ministry of the Interior in the field of archives.

The archive is a traditional memory institution that receives, permanently preserves, professionally processes and makes available the documents of all Czechoslovak and Czech presidents and their office since 1918.

The Prague Castle Archive at the Office of the President of the Republic was established in 1920. The department concentrates written material and documentation relating to the Castle, its history, research, construction, repair and maintenance. The basis is made up of historical documents that originated from the activities of the offices administering Prague Castle.

The National Centre makes available electronic datasets from social research surveys. The data are intended for further analytical processing. Cooperation in the organization of large-scale research surveys. The main activity of the Centre is the acquisition, archiving and access to Czech research datasets.
