We intensively support and coordinate the area of prevention and safe transport not only in the city of Ostrava.

The basic mission of the professional independent organization is research, development and expert activities with national scope for all fields of transport and providing service activities for the MoD and other authorities and organizations of the state, public and private sectors.

We provide testing, assessment, research and development in the field of railway vehicles and equipment, their components and materials. We use the method of verifying technical parameters and driving characteristics of railway rolling stock directly on the track.

We bring together several dozen members, mainly experts in the field of transport. The aim of the organisation is to raise the professional level of its members by promoting research in the field and by organising or co-organising conferences, seminars or workshops to share experience and good practice.

Its research focus covers the key needs of transport development in the country, at national, regional and local level. It provides research, expert and service activities in all areas of transport for the public and private sectors. It is also an expert institute.
