We provide certification and testing of building products for the woodworking industry in the Czech and European market. We are engaged in expert activities in the fields of wood processing, forestry and designing for sawmill technology or joinery and building and timber production.

The Hydrobiological Station, which was established in 1924 in the building of the former farmhouse by Prof. Karel Schäffern, is a detached workplace of the Faculty of Science. Its establishment was a continuation of Prof. Fritz's "flying" station founded in 1988, which was one of the oldest such stations in Europe.
