Library operations.

The aim of the association is to return to the extinct material and spiritual values that used to be inherent in Novohrad for centuries.

The first written report dates back to 1259. The village is located at an altitude of 543 metres. There are 1565 inhabitants. Provision of Czech POINT services. We operate an electronic official board. We organize cultural and social events. In the village there is a museum, a machine knitting factory, a soda factory or a power plant.

The parish holds services and retreats. We organize tours, concerts, exhibitions and lectures. We take up collections and provide assistance to those in need.

Operation of an association for the promotion of the region.

Primary school for 270 pupils with a day-room and dining room. The grounds of the primary school include adjacent land with flower beds, a greenhouse and a large school playground, gymnasium and an auditorium for all the pupils of the school. We run dance groups, a choir and hold religious classes.

Kindergarten for 50 children with dining room.

We provide library, information and photocopying services. Internet access and an on-line catalogue of books are available. We lend books of fiction and non-fiction, magazines and CDs. We allow telephone and electronic book reservations. We organise literary and library events for schools.

An international educational movement for youth and children aged 6 and up organizing meetings, expeditions, events and camps. The basic mission is to promote the personality development of young people, their spiritual, moral, intellectual, social and physical abilities.

Chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, patroness of the Scapular Brotherhood. Built between 1746 and 1747. It can be seen during tours. Holding services and providing information about the activities of the Roman Catholic parish.
