The first written report dates back to 1488. The village is situated at an altitude of 480 metres. Interesting features of the village are a chapel with a consecrated historical bell and a monument dedicated to the victims of World War I.

Our volunteer fire department is dedicated to protecting and assisting in the event of fires. We offer modern firefighting equipment, including engine sprinklers and tankers. We also organise training for our members and actively participate in fire sports.
