The first written report dates back to 1488. The village is located at an altitude of 491 metres. Cultural, social and children's events are organised. A nature trail through Vejrovský zemanství, a marked cycle path and a railway line pass through the village.

Our volunteer fire department is dedicated to protecting and assisting in the event of fires. We offer modern firefighting equipment, including engine sprinklers and tankers. We also organise training for our members and actively participate in fire sports.
