We run a primary school for 250 pupils with a day care and dining room. We are involved in recycling. We organize interest and sports clubs, trips or discussions.

The first written record dates back to 1152. The village is located at an altitude of 493 metres. We have a voluntary firefighters' association, a fishing association and a physical education union. We organize cultural and social events. We offer Czech point services.

Our volunteer fire department is dedicated to protecting and assisting in the event of fires. We offer modern firefighting equipment, including engine sprinklers and tankers. We also organise training for our members and actively participate in fire sports.
