The primary school consists of two classes for 40 pupils, teaching pupils from Year 1 to Year 5. We teach according to the "Creative School" curriculum. From Year 2 onwards, pupils begin to learn English. Great emphasis is placed on environmental education. We are involved in many projects.

The kindergarten has two classrooms with a total capacity of 35 children and a cafeteria. Children as young as three years old are admitted. We work closely with the primary school.

The first written report dates back to 1323. The village is located at an altitude of 460 metres. In addition, social, cultural and other events are organized in the village.

Offering library and internet services. You can borrow fiction, educational literature, books for children and young people and magazines Woman and Life, Home, Garden and Quatrefoil. Books can be borrowed from the library in Písek.

Our volunteer fire department is dedicated to protecting and assisting in the event of fires. We offer modern firefighting equipment, including engine sprinklers and tankers. We also organise training for our members and actively participate in fire sports.

We organize interest groups and leisure activities for children, youth and adults. We also offer various courses, competitions, trips, talks, educational events, club camps and summer camps.
