The first written report dates back to 1352. The village is located at an altitude of 525 metres, has 323 inhabitants and is situated in the attractive landscape of the foothills of the Šumava Mountains. The Opolenec Nature Reserve has a Sudslavice linden tree that is more than 700 years old.
We run a kindergarten with a school canteen for 35 children. We provide English language classes. We arrange cultural or sporting events for children, visits to the theatre and we guide them towards ecology.
Primary school with a capacity of 660 pupils. There is a canteen, after school club and the opportunity to attend art, sports or drama clubs. We organize talks, openings, theatre performances, lantern parades and others. We arrange rentals of the gym, playground, computer room and more.
