The first written record dates back to 1243. The village is situated at an altitude of 215 metres. In the village there is the Church of St. John the Baptist, a statue of St. John of Nepomuk in the village square and a sculpture of the Holy Trinity.

Our business is organizing religious services and other social events. We also provide information about the activities of the Roman Catholic parish.

We run a primary school for 380 pupils with a dining room and a day care centre. We offer the opportunity to attend sports, health, ceramics, art or language clubs.

We run a kindergarten for 50 children. The children are provided with all-day meals. There are also trips, theatre, plays and more.
