We run an amateur theatre company focusing mainly on performances for children. Together we organize various cultural and social events in the village. Our amateur theatre group was founded in the spring of 2006 by Martina Valíková Výhodová, an actress and long-time member of the Evening Brno Theatre.

Operation of the volunteer fire brigade. The fire brigade protects the lives, health and property of citizens from fires, floods and other emergencies, and provides technical assistance.

Offering library services. We offer a large selection of children's literature.

We run a kindergarten for 75 children with a dining room.

We run a primary school for 120 pupils with a day care and canteen. We offer the opportunity to attend guitar, chess, speech therapy, flute, floorball, sports, gymnastics, modeling, brass-trumpet or computer clubs.

The first written report dates back to 1190. The village is situated at an altitude of 214 metres. There is a library, kindergarten and primary school and an information centre. The village's landmarks are niche chapels, a farmyard and the Pieta sculpture.
