The parish holds services and retreats.

Operation of the volunteer fire brigade. SDH Hostěradice is categorized as JPO III/1 with departure time up to 10 minutes. The unit has 16 properly trained members. Another corps is the Association of Volunteer Firefighters of which any citizen can become a member.

The first written account dates back to 1200. The village is located at an altitude of 212 meters. The village has a library, a volunteer fire department, an elementary school and a kindergarten.

Operation of a kindergarten for 75 children.

We run a state primary school for 125 pupils with a day care and canteen. The school's educational programme is based on developing the individual needs of the pupil. We organize sports, cultural and social events for pupils and their parents. We organize lectures, discussions, excursions and other educational events within the framework of the curriculum.
