The first written report dates back to 1299. The village is situated at an altitude of 445 metres. There are 255 inhabitants. Provision of Czech POINT services. The village lies on the border of the Protected Landscape Area of the Bohemian Central Highlands and the Lusatian Mountains. There is a marked cycling route through the area. We organize cultural and social events.

Kindergarten for 20 children with dining room. There is a garden with sandpit, gazebo and playground equipment. With the motivational project "Our happy kindergarten" we try to make the educational offer as varied as possible, corresponding to the activities and games of the children. We organise trips, fancy dress parties and playschemes.
