The first written report dates back to 1299. The village is located at an altitude of 540 metres. The village has a post office, grocery store, restaurant, gas station and hotel. We organize children's days or May Day and summer festivals.

We make life easier for seniors, children and adults with disabilities and people with autism spectrum disorder. Personal assistance is regulated by Act No. 108/2006 Coll. on social services and Decree 505/2006.

We run a card club. We organise card competitions, social events and more.
