We focus on promoting local initiative and local partnership at regional level, creating jobs for people from disadvantaged social groups and their integration into the labour market.

The Foundation has long been involved in the preservation of cultural heritage by actively raising funds, creating projects as well as their subsequent implementation, promoting social, cultural and economic development and supporting professional, scientific research and project activities.

We provide lending, interlibrary loan, information and photocopying services. There is a reading room, a study room, public internet and an online catalogue of books. We lend books of fiction, non-fiction and magazines. We organize literary and library-informative events for schools and the public.
