The first written report dates back to 1497. The village is located at an altitude of 264 metres. The village has a tourist hostel, a convenience store, a sports complex or a kindergarten and a primary school from 1st to 3rd grade.

A primary school teaching grades 1-4 in the first grade, with only two classes. The maximum capacity of the school is 40 pupils.
