Kindergarten for 25 children. With the children we organize St. Nicholas and Christmas pageants, exhibitions, competitions, carnivals, kite flying, we go for walks and go on trips. We provide ski training and a pre-swimming course.

We operate a physical education unit, a football field, a soccer field and a volleyball field.

The first written report dates back to 1395. The village is located at an altitude of 489 metres. The village has a volunteer fire brigade, the civic association Spona, the puppet troupe Marná snaha, the Suchodol women's association and the TJ sokol.
