Creating conditions to effectively protect the life and health of citizens and property from fires and in providing assistance during natural disasters and events. We also conduct tours of the historic firefighter museum from May through October.

The first written report dates back to 1412. The village is located at an altitude of 468 metres. The village has a Baroque Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross from 1844, a statue of St. John of Nepomuk and a firefighting museum founded by the local firefighters in 1989. It provides CZECH POINT service.

Elementary school for 35 pupils with a daycare and cafeteria. We offer instruction in grades 1-5. We run special interest groups in computer, dance, ceramics or art. We provide dyslexic remediation. The school is equipped with an interactive whiteboard and a computer room.

We operate a local library. We lend educational literature, children's literature, poetry, fiction and magazines. We have a printer, scanner and internet access. We provide lending, bibliographic information and interlibrary loan services. We organise literary talks and events for the public.

Kindergarten for 27 children from 2 years old with a dining room. We also accept children with disabilities. We organize playschemes and trips. We run computer, dance, ceramics and art clubs.

International educational movement for youth and children aged 6 and up organizes meetings, expeditions, events and camps.
