The first written report dates back to 1255. The village is located at an altitude of 275 metres. There are 544 inhabitants. Provision of Czech POINT services. The village has a volunteer fire brigade and a physical education unit.

The aim of the association is to promote cultural life and the arts, in particular the organisation of concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events.

We operate a parish of the Roman Catholic Church. We organize services, spiritual meetings, confessions. We offer afternoon gatherings for children or religious instruction. We believe in the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, reconciliation, marriage, priesthood, anointing of the sick, burial and ordination.
