We run a nursery school with a dining room for 55 children aged 3 to 6 years. We focus on proper health, physical and mental development of the child. We provide speech therapy, rehabilitation exercises, offer English, swimming, skiing and ceramics clubs. We cooperate with sports clubs of the village.

The first written report dates back to 1358. The village is located at an altitude of 408 metres. The village is situated in the Žulovská hills and Hornolipovská highlands. There are caves, viewpoints and granite quarries in the surroundings.

We run a primary school for 270 pupils. We have a recreation room with a capacity of 75 places and our own canteen. We try to create a calm and pleasant working atmosphere for the pupils. We offer art, ceramics, health and country clubs and a floorball club.

Operation of the volunteer fire brigade. The fire brigade protects the lives, health and property of citizens from fires, floods and other emergencies, and provides technical assistance.

We believe in the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, reconciliation, marriage, priesthood, anointing of the sick, burial and ordination.
