We run a nursery for a total of 26 children. We have our own canteen. Qualified staff mainly focuses on children's adaptation to a foreign environment, the acquisition of hygiene and social habits, developing independence, motor skills, healthy self-esteem or the ability to communicate with others.

The City Hall provides comprehensive state and local government services for its residents and neighboring municipalities. The local government oversees the development of urban infrastructure, education, culture, and tourism, and annually organizes major national events, such as the famous Chodské slavnosti—the St. Lawrence Fair.
