The village is located at an altitude of 230 meters. A railway line and a marked bicycle route pass through the village. There is a Krnsko castle and the church of St. George. The stunning valley through which the Jizera River flows is bridged by the dominant feature of the village, the unique arcaded viaduct, which has been declared a cultural monument.
In a school setting, children with an order for institutional education are provided with full direct provision of food, accommodation and clothing, including necessary educational and medical expenses. The capacity of the home is 48 places.
The first written report dates back to 1323. The Lobeč castle, the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and the Eduard Štorch Museum are located here. A hiking and cycling trail passes through the village. We organize cultural, social and children's events.
