We run a state secondary school providing three year courses in carpentry, bricklaying and a two year course in catering.

We focus on the school curriculum From Spring to River, where we try to create a relaxed school environment, to understand each other, to play sports, to learn to live healthy, to understand nature and ourselves, to know how to work with information.

We provide fire protection for the community and organize educational, sporting and cultural events. We are members of the SH ČMS and participate in all events and organize similar events ourselves. We also participate in exercises with professional units to be ready for real intervention, which we fortunately have few of.

Our volunteer fire department is dedicated to protecting and assisting in the event of fires. We offer modern firefighting equipment, including engine sprinklers and tankers. We also organise training for our members and actively participate in fire sports.

The first written record dates back to 1152. The village is located at an altitude of 493 metres. We have a voluntary firefighters' association, a fishing association and a physical education union. We organize cultural and social events. We offer Czech point services.

The Vltava Rover Association. We support cultural life and traditions related to the Vltava River.

We are an organization dedicated to protecting and building our community. We offer a call-out unit that specializes in firefighting and emergency response. We also support young firefighters who are learning important protection and rescue skills.
