The first written report dates back to 1454. The village is located at an altitude of 313 metres. The village has a kindergarten and a fortress called Velka Bukovina. We organize social, cultural and children's events. We co-publish a regional newsletter.

International educational movement for youth and children aged 6 and up organizes meetings, expeditions, events and camps.
