The mission of the association is to develop and popularize the sport of fishing, to practice the law of fishing, to provide for the breeding, conservation and catching of fish, and to protect the environment. We manage the trout and non-trout fishery Jihlava with the reservoir of the Great Lake. We breed carp, pike, trout, grass carp, catfish, tolstolobiki and others.

Primary school for 360 pupils with a day care and dining room. We participate in the EU money for schools project. We run a pupil parliament or clubs for flute, floorball, dance, basketball, science, music or football. We publish a school magazine. We organize school trips, ski courses or Olympiads.

We are a three-class kindergarten with a capacity of 69 children. The school has a school canteen.

We provide research on vertebrates at population and community levels. We specialize in evolutionary ecology, biodiversity, applied ecology and medical zoology. We contribute to increasing the level of knowledge and education and to the application of scientific research results in practice.

We play Moravian brass band with passion and tradition. Our music enriches feasts, pilgrimages, celebrations and private events. We bring joy and fun to all who like live music.

The first written report dates back to 1234. The township is located at an altitude of 345 metres. Near the township there is a national nature reserve Mohelenska snake steppe. There is a Baroque rectory, a Renaissance town hall and other monuments.
