The first written report dates back to 1131. In the village there is a castle, a statue of St. John of Nepomuk, a chapel of St. Wenceslas, a restaurant, a guesthouse, a hospitality. The belonging of the village to the Slovácko region is documented by the annual costumed Slovácké feast with the right to celebrate the feast of St. Wenceslas.
