The first written report dates back to 1500. The village is located at an altitude of 490 metres. There are 1587 inhabitants. The village includes a post office, library, kindergarten and primary school. The sights of the village include the Church of St. Stephen of Hungary and the Kobz Lime Tree.
We operate a foundation with a focus on providing cultural and spiritual education to youth in their leisure time and increasing the moral value of youth.
Primary school for 330 pupils with a school canteen and a day care centre. There are art, beekeeping, sports, dance, chess and hiking clubs. We organize sports, cultural and social events for pupils and their parents. We organize lectures, talks, excursions and other educational events within the framework of the curriculum.
We operate a parish of the Roman Catholic Church. We organize services, spiritual meetings, confessions. We offer afternoon gatherings for children or religious instruction. We believe in the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, reconciliation, marriage, priesthood, anointing of the sick, burial and ordination.
