Our area of interest is the Upper Vsacko Valley in Wallachia and the history associated with it.

The first written report dates back to 1644. The town is situated at an altitude of 453 metres. We run a volunteer fire brigade. There is a memorial to the national artist Antonín Strnad or the Roman Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist.

Primary school of 1st and 2nd grade with a daycare and dining room.

Kindergarten for 23 pupils with school canteen.

Lending books, magazines and board games. There are three PCs with internet connection, printer, photocopier and scanner up to A4 size.

Spreading the Christian religion in third world areas. We entrust our mission to Our Lady of Sorrows, the patroness of our Slovak province. We live our religious missionary vocation in constant openness to the call of the Holy Spirit.

We run a primary school for 120 pupils with a day care and canteen. We also teach work and art education. The school is wheelchair accessible.

We operate a parish of the Roman Catholic Church. We organize services, spiritual meetings, confessions. We offer afternoon gatherings for children or religious instruction. We believe in the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, reconciliation, marriage, priesthood, anointing of the sick, burial and ordination.
