Organizing religious services and religious meetings. We allow tourist tours of the monastery. The Cistercian monastery was founded in 1259 by Vok I of Rožmberk. The monastery was dissolved in 1941. In the 1950s, the monastery was dissolved a second time. Now the Cistercians inhabit it again and administer it according to the motto Ora et labora.

We are a public high school providing instruction in four-year courses of study in Electrical Mechanic, Plumbing and Electrical Building Equipment Mechanic and two-year extension courses in Business or Hair Cosmetology with the option of three-year distance learning.

We run a primary school for 40 pupils. We have a 25-seater co-educational school and our own canteen. We try to create a calm and pleasant working atmosphere for the pupils. We offer interest groups such as German, flute, English, singing, swimming, religion, sports games and others.

We run a nursery school for 172 children with a school canteen.

We are a state secondary school providing education in three-year courses in Electrical Mechanic for Equipment and Devices, Auto Electrician, Carpenter, Roofer, Plumber, Bricklayer, Repairer of Forestry and Agricultural Machinery, Cook - Waiter, Hairdresser, Salesman - Florist and Farmer.

The Municipal Police ensures local public order matters and contributes to the protection and security of persons and property. It supervises the observance of the rules of civil coexistence and compliance with generally binding ordinances and regulations of the municipality. It contributes to the prevention of crime in the municipality. Detects misdemeanours and other offences.
