We operate a state vocational secondary school with a canteen providing teaching of four-year courses in Service and Tourism Management, Ecology, Environment and Agricultural Production or Applied Informatics in Services as well as postgraduate courses in Business in Services or Transport Services.

We run a higher vocational school for 200 students with a canteen providing three years of agri-tourism education. Students are prepared for business activities in agro-tourism and ecotourism. We provide combined and full-time studies.

We run a primary school for 350 pupils with a day care and dining room. The children have clubs for ceramics, cooking, football, maths, beading, English, dancing and singing. The services of an educational counsellor are available.

The first written record dates from 1547. The village is situated at an altitude of 575 metres. There are 650 inhabitants. Provision of Czech POINT services. There is a kindergarten and a primary school. We publish a municipal newsletter. The village lies in the Protected Landscape Area of the Žďár Hills. We organize cultural events.

The Authority issues decisions on the granting of a licence and the suspension of the trade. It maintains the trade register and the register of agricultural entrepreneurs. It carries out inspection activities.

Kindergarten for 30 children with dining room. Currently a one-class kindergarten with full-day operation. There is a large garden around the school which will be changing its appearance from autumn. The surroundings of the kindergarten are beautiful, varied and rich in educational walks.
