The Arboretum serves the needs of practical and theoretical teaching of specialized subjects, especially biology, botany, silviculture and environmental science. We organise open days and other events.

Operation of a botanical garden with outdoor exhibitions and pavilions.The main task of our botanical garden is to grow the assortments of plants necessary for teaching horticulture, floriculture and vegetable gardening. Another essential function of the garden is to maintain the gene pool of mainly cultivated plants.

We operate a herb garden. We organize courses and short educational programs for schools or kindergartens.
