The castle offers a tour of exhibits depicting society in prehistoric times, the Rožmberk family or products from Strakonice - fezes and motorcycles in 11 halls. The Baroque chateau has undergone an interesting architectural development that reflects the dramatic history of Horažďovice. We offer tours of the castle ruins, possibility of a tour with a dog. The core of the castle was probably built at the beginning of the 13th century in the form of a watchtower. Its task was to protect the trade route connecting the towns of Sušice and Horažďovice. It is possible to organize wedding ceremonies, concerts, lectures and dramatic performances.

Tours of the castle. The history of Zvíkovo Castle has been linked to the royal family of the Přemyslids since the beginning. In summer, for example, theatre or swordplay performances take place here. The first step towards the foundation was probably taken by Přemysl Otakar I in 1226.

The chateau was built as a castle in the middle of the 13th century, the extensive Renaissance reconstruction was carried out in the 17th century by the Novohradský family from Kolovrat. The oldest preserved part of the castle is the Vlček Tower. The last major reconstruction was carried out after the extensive fire of the Upper Castle in 1857.

Gothic Kašperk, founded in 1356 by Charles IV, is the highest royal castle in Bohemia. It offers guided tours (entry with dogs allowed) and a freely accessible courtyard with seating and refreshments. The castle is alive with culture, especially theatre and events.
