City museum offering, in addition to permanent exhibitions on the history of Dačice, short-term art and museum exhibitions.

We have a permanent display of the history and lore of the town. In the museum you can see ceramic wall stories and figures, a mysterious mirror, model trains, tunnels and bridges, realistic scenes related to legends or dungeons with Romanesque elements.

The Jemnice Museum. The exhibition “Life on the Border” offers a glimpse into places where Czech, German, and Jewish cultures intermingle, and where national, state, and regional borders lie nearby. You’ll see a stone maiden, a film about the Barchan festival, documents chronicling the 20th century, and preserved farm buildings. There are play areas for children.

The permanent exhibition offers a view of the interior architecture of the townhouse, rich ethnographic collections, handicraft production and social life of the 19th century.
