The chateau houses a permanent exhibition dedicated to the early years of Smetana's work. It also commemorates other composers who were born in the region over the centuries, such as Jan Dismas Zelenka, Josef Leopold Dukát and Josef Suk, or who visited and worked in the region - Richard Wagner, Gustav Mahler and others.

The museum is located in the historic Kopack House right on the square. The individual exhibitions will reveal the secrets of leather glove production, guide you through Jewish history, water management and other attractions of the town. A part of the exhibition is dedicated to Ludvík Kopáček, the former town secretary.

Around the grove there is an outdoor exhibition Forest as a source of tradition. The meadow is home to the Pramínek Forest Club (forest kindergarten) of the Říčany Eco-centre.

The geopark offers educational programmes for kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and teacher training in the field of living and non-living nature. There are also events for the public with garnet digging, fossil uncovering and cave system exploration. You can also hold a birthday party with stone cutting and polishing.

The museum is open especially for families with children, with alternating exhibitions focused on nature, creativity and history. You can always find current exhibitions and events on the website. There is a relaxation area in the garden, exhibitions about the garden and activities for children.

The Prácheň Museum has been housed in the historic building of the former royal castle since 1902. The museum represents the cultural and natural heritage of the Prague Region and Písek. The museum also includes a professional library, a museum shop and an accompanying programme of lectures and events for the public.
