We run an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Adolf Heyduk. We exhibit the poet's study, dining room and salon including furniture, library, paintings and small utilitarian objects.

The Prácheň Museum has been housed in the historic building of the former royal castle since 1902. The museum represents the cultural and natural heritage of the Prague Region and Písek. Operation of a museum with a collection of original skeletons and stuffed exotic animals. The collection contains more than 1,200 exhibits, often complete systematic groups of vertebrates, such as felines, bears, elephants, rhinoceroses, beavers, and an extensive collection of insects and other invertebrates.

We exhibit an interactive map of Protivín, prehistoric and early medieval settlements or samples of urban everyday life at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
