The Firefighters' Mini Museum was renovated in 2014. It is now back in operation and has been expanded with new exhibits. Here you can learn about the history of the Záboří Volunteer Fire Brigade and the whole village.

We run an exposition of the exotic world of insects, the world under the sea, the world of mountains, savannahs, deserts and the shores of rivers and lakes or the world of forests and seashores. We exhibit an interactive map of Protivín, prehistoric and early medieval settlements or samples of urban everyday life at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The Prácheň Museum has been housed in the historic building of the former royal castle since 1902. The museum represents the cultural and natural heritage of the Prague Region and Písek.
