In the renovated City Museum building, we offer a permanent exhibition titled “The City and the World,” which places the museum’s non-European collection within the local context of Moravská Třebová’s history. The museum also organizes temporary exhibitions, lectures, and workshops.

We operate a museum of the international language Esperanto. The exhibition maps the history and present of the Esperanto movement in the Czech Republic and abroad. There are exhibition panels, book displays, multimedia documents on the computer and also on an interactive touch screen.

The operation of a city museum with an exhibition commemorating the history of the city and its personalities. There is a permanent exhibition dedicated to railway transport, an exhibition of the birth and development of the popular OS-KAR carriage and an exhibition of the academic sculptor František Formánek.

You will see an exhibition dedicated to the painter Max Švabinský and the Vejrych family. The local landscape inspired Švabinský to create several of his works (The Poor Country, At the Loom, Two Mothers, White Camellia). Švabinský decorated the facade of the cottage with a sgraffito called Žnečka.
