We operate a museum inspired by Old Bohemian tales and Czech traditions.

We have been operating a museum of safes and safe technology since 1968. The museum maps the development of safes, vaults, locks and everything related to safes over the last 200 years in the Czech Republic.

The permanent exhibition includes, among other things, historical artefacts found during archaeological research or the rarest clothes for the love statue of the Virgin Mary. Please keep an eye on our website for the latest exhibitions.

The Mariánská Štola, 532 metres long, was built between 1869 and 1870 and opened to the public in 1994. Visitors are introduced to the history of the adit and the work of the old miners in the unaltered form of the preserved brick and stone lining of the adit's ovoid profile, as well as a demonstration of the mine's workings.

The memorial is dedicated to the personality and work of Karel Čapek, Olga Scheinpflug and Ferdinand Peroutka. We organize guided tours for schools. There is also an educational trail of Karel Čapek. In the museum and bistro you can pay in cash and by card.

Visitors can see the surface exhibitions, the Rimba adit and an exhibition called Memory of the Region.

Operation of the Museum of Victims of Communism and History of Uranium Mining. Former prisoner of war camp serving as a museum of victims of communism. The exhibitions introduce the persecution after February 1948, the anti-communist resistance and the history of uranium mining.

We run a museum. Right in the museum corridor, visitors are greeted by a comic strip that shows the way to transform an everyday object into a valuable museum exhibit. Visitors will also get a glimpse of the museum's mid-20th century depository.
