We operate a historical exposition of the city. Exhibition space is available on the ground floor of the building.

Exhibition of expositions dealing with ethnography, mineralogy of Bohemian Paradise and Podkrkonoší, zoology, history and ethnography of Lomnicko, hunting and sports exhibition or the Memorial of the Šlecht family. The gallery focuses on the works of important regional artists.

We run a railway museum. Our collections include historic locomotives, carriages and other railway artefacts. Our aim is to preserve and bring the fascinating world of railways to all visitors.

A museum with a permanent exhibition of historical objects from the First Republic.

In the museum you will see the life in the Podkrkonoší region of our ancestors - agriculture, individual crafts such as: weaving, butter making, shoemaking, Ponikel ornaments and other glass products, carpentry, beekeeping, brush making, carriage and lace gallery and more. The collection focuses on the skill and artistry of the common people.

The old school building, which dates back to 1799, is the most important monument of Stara Paka. It is a timbered building with a carved gable, which has been preserved in its original form to the present day. It is now a state cultural monument.

We run a museum. We organize exhibitions. Permanent exhibitions are also available. The exhibition space includes a section dedicated to the activities of members of the Order of St. Francis in the city. The museum also includes a unique collection of carved figural beehives from the late 18th century.

Operation of the Weaving Museum.

The town museum in the old town hall on the square in Úpice offers a permanent exhibition on the life of the Čapek family in Úpice, a gallery of paintings by Julia Winter Mezerová, an ethnographic exhibition, a collection of weapons and fragments from Vízmburk Castle. The Municipal Museum also operates the NKP DřeveĚNKA from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries.

We organize exhibitions on the history of Vrchlabí and the development of tourism in the Giant Mountains. The museum is located in four gable houses, which are among the oldest folk buildings in the Giant Mountains.

Touch the Giant Mountains and get to know them in one place. The timeless and interactive exhibition documents not only the story of the unique nature, but also its connection with the fate of people who live in the mountains.

In addition to a demonstration of the weaving craft on two hand looms, it is still possible to look into the secrets of the woodturning workshop equipped with a woodworking lathe and a set of tools from the late 19th century. A moving nativity scene by the Škrabálek brothers from the early 20th century is a testament to folk art.

We run a museum with displays of firefighting, skiing and agricultural equipment. You will find displays of old-time living, woodworking, martial arts as well as a gallery of photographs and paintings.
