We operate a museum of glass craft. There is an exhibition of pressed and wound beads and glass flowers. The youngest products are more than 70 years old. However, we also have beads dating back 100 years. The driket itself was built in the late 19th century.

Permanent exhibition dedicated to the Riedel family, founders of the glassworks in Desná. During your visit, you will learn about the history of Desná, see period documents, glass, and the exhibition hall where exhibitions of paintings and photographs are held.

The lookout tower is the oldest iron lookout tower in Bohemia. It was built in 1887 by the joint efforts of three sections of the German Mountain Association - Jablonec, Janov and Hornokamenice.

The museum houses a significant part of Jára Cimrman's estate, which was previously kept in the depositories of the Jára Cimrman Theatre. A significant part of the collections was also newly acquired thanks to citizens from the Pojizeří region and the surrounding area.

From the crown of the tower, through the windows of the observation platform, you can partially see the Jizera Mountains and the peaks of their southern foothills (Maxovský Ridge with Slovanka, Bukovská hora, Tanvaldský Špičák and Smržovka Vyhlídka). The museum's interactive exhibition focuses not only on the life and healing of the legendary Dr. Kittel, but also on the history of Kittel and folk healing. One of the biggest attractions of the exposition is a replica of the so-called "Smržovský grimoire", a book of witchcraft attributed to Kittel.

In the museum there is an exposition of power engineering, a boiler room, an exposition of aircraft engines from the depository of the Military Historical Institute Prague, and an exposition of textile production. The museum also offers seating in the Café Industrial with a variety of refreshments.
