We are a small brewery brewing beer for the needs of our restaurant and guesthouse Markus. We continue the history of brewing beer in Frymburk, which dates from 1456 to 1921. We are happy to be able to renew this tradition after 104 years. We founded the microbrewery in 2025.

The brewery was founded by Jakub Krčín of Jelčany around 1568. The brewery belonged to the Schwarzenberg family. With its own source of spring water. The maximum claimed resource capacity of 3.6 l/s corresponds to 12.9 tonnes per hour. This corresponds to more than 113,000 tonnes of water per year!

The production of the brewery is 6000 ha per year. It brews beer not only for its own needs, but also exports it to neighbouring towns.

We operate a modern equipped brewery. We offer light, semi-dark and dark lager, light draught and low-alcohol beer.

Re-established tradition of brewing beer in the historic city centre. Traditional Czech lagers and top-fermented specials. Restaurant with classic Czech cuisine using fresh ingredients from local suppliers. Modern interior incorporated into a historic building from the golden hands of Czech architects.

Brewery Operations.

We operate a brewery, beer is prepared here with an emphasis on the highest standard of raw materials in the technologies of the renowned manufacturer Kaspar Schulz. All beers produced in the Solnice brewery meet the criteria for the "Czech beer" label. They are unfiltered and unpasteurised.

We're a family-owned flying brewery. Our beers are characterized by a higher bitter taste that lingers gently on the tongue. All year round we brew Pale 10°, Pale Lager 12°, Semi-Dark 13°, English-style ALE 12° and now also Gluten-Free 11°. During Advent we also offer a Christmas Lager with cinnamon 11°.

The brewery is one of the successful Czech companies. It exports beer to more than 50 countries on all continents. The original Budweiser Budvar lager is also popular among consumers thanks to its unique maturation period of 90 days.

Founded in 2018 by three beer enthusiasts, the brewery is a continuation of our long-standing home brewing tradition, which we have been doing since 1998. We are ultra-specialists in bottom-fermented beers. We don't pasteurise or filter our beers so that we can offer them to you in the best quality.
