I specialise in the construction of violins, violas and cellos. I am mainly based on the models of A. Stradivari and G. Guarneri. I also restore old instruments.

Jakub Michl is a musician and maker of historical string instruments. He also teaches the viola da gamba. In addition to violas da gamba, he crafts medieval string instruments and Renaissance lyres. As an active performer, he is a member of several early music ensembles; he previously worked as a musicologist at the Czech Academy of Sciences.

I am mainly engaged in the production of clarinets. I also repair and service woodwind instruments, manufacture woodwind instruments, repair old sound equipment (turntables, speakers, etc.).
